Our Class Ambassadors do a lot to help us stay connected with our alumni. But how well do you know them? We asked Hannah Yu ’23 a series of questions to find out more about her – her likes, dislikes, quirks, and everything in between.
What have you been up to since you left CIS?
I’ve only just graduated so not much! But I’m excited to be travelling a lot this summer before I head to university.
How do you prefer to start your day?
Breakfast! Some of my favourite breakfast foods are overnight oats, bagels, scrambled eggs, and yogurt.
If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
I would want to be able to do cool hairstyles. I used to love watching hair style tutorials on youtube when I was a child but I never manage to be able to do those styles on myself.
What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Cherish your time in high school and with your friends. With the stress of school and busy schedules, it can become easy to get caught up in the other aspects of school but I think the friendships I made from school mattered the most.
If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?
Instagram, Netflix, Camera
What’s your fondest memory of CIS?
Talking to different people in the common room between classes.
What’s your favourite snack?
Jam and cream sandwich cookies!
