Candace Au-Yeung ’07

Our Class Ambassadors do a lot to help us stay connected with our alumni. But how well do you know them? We asked Candace Au-Yeung ’07 a series of questions to find out more about her – her likes, dislikes, quirks, and everything in between.

What have you been up to since you left CIS?

After I graduated from UC Berkeley, I went to law school in Hong Kong and eventually worked as a corporate lawyer at Skadden Arps in Hong Kong and London. I moved to Shanghai after I got married and I am now back in Hong Kong as a full-time mother to two children.

How do you prefer to start your day?

When I’m not getting woken up by my daughter at 6am, I enjoy a 茶走 and 雪菜肉絲米 at the local 茶餐廳.

What advice would you give to your teenage self?

Take more risks and live a little!

What would. we most likely find you doing on the weekend?

Swimming, hiking or attending kids birthday parties.

What’s your worst memory of CIS?

The early morning swim trainings right before a competition.
