Our Class Ambassadors do a lot to help us stay connected with our alumni. But how well do you know them? We asked Kevin Ky ’19 a series of questions to find out more about him – his likes, dislikes, quirks, and everything in between.
What have you been up to since you left CIS?
Organize class reunion, working and studying (2 full time jobs is exhausting).
Have you travelled anywhere interesting lately?
I wish hahaha does the market count?
How do you prefer to start your day?
In bed.
If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
Marketing and psychology.
What advice would you give to your teenage self?
More is not enough, don’t get *too* carried away, lower your self-importance.
What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Passionate, caring and joyful.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Spending time with family and other people I am grateful for.
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
Foresight, intelligence, or superior attention to detail.
If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?
Google Chrome, Camera, Spotify.
What’s your fondest memory of CIS?
Last day of classes during spirit week.
What’s your favourite colour and why?
Orange. A colour of energy, passion, brightness, and it’s also a fruit.
What’s your worst memory of CIS?
When prank day was almost cancelled since water guns were banned (got it back in the end).
If you can change one thing about CIS, what would it be?
The grade-focus mentality or the education system (IB is not worth it).
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Probably using a different mobile phone.
What’s your favourite snack?
Granola bars.
What songs take you back to your teen years?
Hall of Fame – The Script
